Locum Anesthesiologist

Role Overview This position is for an experienced MD specializing in anesthesia, providing comprehensive services in a busy hospital setting. The clinician will manage general anesthesia cases, perform all blocks independently, and operate within a supervision model with a team of MDs and CRNAs/CAAs across multiple operating and endoscopy rooms. Responsibilities Deliver anesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures, excluding OB cases Manage a variable case load and provide services to patients of all ages Independently perform all blocks and handle general anesthesia cases Collaborate within a supervised team of healthcare professionals Maintain active licensure and board certification in anesthesia Support prescriptive authority as required Ensure patient safety and quality care during procedures Qualifications & Skills Board-certified anesthesiologist Active Indiana medical license Proficient in general anesthesia and nerve blocks Ability to work independently and within a supervision model Strong communication and teamwork skills No call, nights, or holiday coverage required
