Role Overview This position is for a Medical Doctor (MD) providing anesthesia services in a Level 1 trauma center that functions as a teaching hospital. The role involves delivering anesthesia during day shifts in an operating room setting, primarily for adult patients, excluding cardiac, obstetric, and pediatric cases. Responsibilities Perform anesthesia services with supervision and prescriptive authority.Manage a variable case load across diverse surgical procedures.Work on-site during scheduled shifts with no call coverage required. Qualifications & Skills Prescriptive authority is required.Board certification is negotiable.Ability to provide anesthesia supervision and manage adult surgical cases. Key Duties Provide high-quality anesthesia care within established workflows, ensuring patient safety and effective surgical support. The role involves collaboration with clinical staff in a busy hospital environment, focusing on adult patient cases, with no involvement in pediatric or cardiac procedures.
