Locum Anesthesiologist Coverage

Role Overview: This position is for a licensed, board-certified MD specializing in anesthesia to provide services in a hospital setting within an organized operating room program. Responsibilities: Deliver anesthesia care during day shifts in an on-site OR, primarily for pediatric (75%) and adult (25%) patients. Work under physician supervision with no hands-on involvement, completing all clinical documentation via EPIC EMR. The role involves variable case loads without call, evening, night, or weekend duties. Qualifications & Skills: Must be board-certified in anesthesia. Prior experience working within a hospital OR environment is essential. Strong documentation skills and the ability to work within a supervised model are required. Additional Details: The position involves working five days a week, totaling 40 hours, with a focus on patient safety and quality care delivery. No prescriptive authority or government work is involved.
