Anesthesiologist - Locums Coverage

About the Role

Seeking a board-certified MD to provide anesthesia services in a community pediatric hospital. The position involves day shifts and managing a diverse case mix, including Level I trauma, neonatal to adult general surgery, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. The clinician will handle ventilation management and arterial line insertions across all ages, operating both independently and supervising CRNAs with 50% hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care during on-site day shifts
• Manage varied pediatric and adult cases, including complex surgeries
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs
• Perform ventilation management and arterial line insertions
• Ensure credentialing within 60-90 days

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Prescriptive authority needed
• Ability to work independently and in supervision
