Locum Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a certified anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage at a critical access hospital. The role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of cases including OR and OB procedures such as Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Podiatry, General Surgery, ENT, and OB. Proficiency in spinals, blocks, and epidurals is required. The workday typically runs from 7 AM to 3 PM, with call coverage from 3 PM to 7 AM. Key responsibilities include supervising anesthesia administration, managing patient care during diverse surgical procedures, and performing VBACs in a low-risk OB environment. Candidates must have board certification and prescriptive authority. Additional details include a variable case load, on-site location, and supervision/medical direction. There are no high-risk OB cases, and the position requires maintaining high-quality, personalized patient care.
