Locum Anesthesiologist

About the Role

This position is for an MD in Anesthesiology providing anesthesia services in a hospital setting. The role involves supervising and working hands-on with patients of all ages, with variable case loads across diverse surgical specialties, including trauma, orthopedic, spine, neurological, cardiac, thoracic, and obstetric procedures. Call coverage is negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care during day shifts across surgical specialties.
• Supervise and provide hands-on anesthesia services (approximately 50% hands-on involvement).
• Support a broad range of surgical cases, including trauma, orthopedic, spine, neurological, cardiac, thoracic, and obstetric procedures.
• Contribute to anesthesia team efforts and ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Work independently during on-site procedures.
• Demonstrate flexibility in shift lengths and call availability.

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting.
