Locum Anesthesiologist

About the role

Seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist with experience in general anesthesia, trauma, and endoscopy, preferably with OB background. This role offers an opportunity to work within a large healthcare network, with online assignment management and support from experienced staffing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Covering call shifts, primarily in OR settings, with backup and 24‑hour OB call duties.
• Handling approximately 1,200 cases per month, including about 700 trauma cases annually (mainly blunt force and agricultural injuries).
• Additional duties may involve cardiac cases (cardiac experience not required).
• No pediatric or transplant cases are involved.
• Performing anesthesia, managing trauma cases, and covering call shifts as scheduled.

Requirements

• Experience in general anesthesia, trauma, and endoscopy.
• OB background preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general anesthesia, trauma, endoscopy, and OB.
• Ability to cover holiday periods.
• Strong clinical skills.
