Locum Anesthesiologist

Role Overview: This position involves providing anesthesia services in a hospital's operating room setting under a physician supervision model. The clinician will work during day shifts, supporting a variety of surgical specialties including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedic, oncology, gastroenterology, vascular, and pediatric procedures. Cases such as OB, trauma, neuro-craniotomy, and cardiac surgeries are excluded. The role requires board certification and full-time availability is preferred. Responsibilities: Deliver anesthesia care with approximately 75% hands-on involvement, supervised by a physician with 24-hour in-house CRNA coverage. The clinician will handle variable case loads and may participate in beeper call with a 30-minute callback, with flexible weekend call options. The work involves day shifts, with options for 8, 10, or 12 hours, supporting a broad patient demographic. Qualifications & Skills: Must possess board certification. Strong clinical skills, ability to work in a supervised environment, and flexibility for variable case types are essential. Experience in a hospital OR setting with diverse surgical procedures is advantageous.
