Locum Anesthesiologist

Overview Seeking an MD to provide anesthesia services in outpatient and surgical settings at two community hospitals in Florida.Responsibilities include delivering anesthesia for a variety of cases such as OB spinals, epidurals, regional blocks, general surgery, and endoscopies, with a case load of 5-20 cases daily.Work under a physician supervision model, supporting a team with anesthesia technicians and CRNAs, maintaining flexibility across locations and shifts.Qualifications include prescriptive authority and relevant certification; supervision ratios are typically 1 MD to 3 or 4 CRNAs.The role involves providing care to patients of all ages during day shifts, with no call required, and supporting multiple facility locations.The position offers a collaborative clinical environment, supporting outpatient surgeries, endoscopy, and short-stay inpatient care.
