Locum Anesthesiologist

This role involves providing anesthesia services in a busy surgical department within a hospital setting, primarily during day shifts and requiring call duties. The anesthesiologist will participate in a supervision model with CRNAs, performing approximately 50% of procedures hands-on across diverse surgical specialties, including cardiac, thoracic, general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, urology, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry. Board certification in Anesthesiology and TEE certification are mandatory. Key responsibilities include delivering perioperative anesthesia care, managing a variable case load, and participating in on-call rotations—covering weeknights, weekends, and emergencies as needed. The role supports all age groups in an on-site environment, with no prescriptive authority required. The clinician will work within a team supervised by medical staff, with CRNAs involved in every CV case.
