Lock & Key Specialist

Overview

Hobby Lobby Stores is seeking a Locks and Keys Specialist to serve their stores by fulfilling their security hardware needs. This is a "hands-on" position requiring the ability to efficiently work with your hands and think on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with store management and store operations to resolve issues with security hardware
• Maintenance of department database
• Able to interpret and analyze standard construction drawings for installation of security hardware of new and existing stores
• Collaborate with other departments to determine solutions to best meet store security hardware needs, including ordering/assembly of hardware and coordinating service technicians
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with other departments, vendors, contractors, etc., to ensure effective and efficient use of Company resources
• Accurate completion of demanding time-sensitive responsibilities
• With training, ability to pin cores, cut keys, and install cores into security hardware
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong mechanical / technical problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to efficiently assess and prioritize an ever-changing, deadline-oriented workload
• Ability to be an effective team player in a fast-paced work environment
• High level of integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Functional knowledge and demonstrated use of standard PC applications (MS office, adobe, etc.)
• Capacity to analyze information, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions
• A perceptive customer service mindset with an emphasis on responsive resolutions
• A positive attitude with a desire to be an integral part of a strong support system for our stores
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Articulate written and oral communication skills
