Locations Manager

About the role
The Locations Manager leads the identification, management, optimization, and branding of Zipcar locations across assigned markets. Key responsibilities include developing and executing location plans, building relationships with external partners, and coordinating with the fleet team to maximize operational efficiency. The role blends entrepreneurialism, analytics, negotiations, marketing, business development, and finance to grow and optimize the car-sharing network.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute location strategies to expand and optimize the car-sharing network.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a wide variety of external partners (e.g., property managers, government entities, businesses).
- Negotiate and manage a high volume of contracts for Zipcar locations.
- Analyze data to make informed decisions on location performance and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., fleet, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless member experiences.
- Manage budgets and financial performance for assigned locations.
- Drive innovation and take calculated risks to improve mobility solutions in the region.
- Use Salesforce for account and contract management.
- Change the mobility landscape in your assigned markets through strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of the Seattle area and experience working with government entities.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Experience synthesizing large datasets to inform decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a process-oriented approach.
- Relevant leadership or management experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards).

Pay
The minimum starting salary for this position is $80,168.40. Factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and qualifications may affect the final offer.
