Location Manager I

About the role

Manage and direct all store operations and personnel, including sales, service, purchasing, and manufacturing, ensuring maximum productivity and profitability. Typically oversees locations with sales up to $15M annually.

Pay

$75K - $85K annual salary.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates daily store activities.
• Resolves operating difficulties and implements resolutions.
• Assigns, instructs, trains, and directs managers and supervisors in their roles.
• Reviews personnel assignments with managers and supervisors based on production/service needs and sales plans.
• Monitors inventory to ensure sufficient material quantities.
• Oversees sales activities to ensure profitability and optimal sales advantages.
• Serves as safety officer, auditing work areas and attending monthly safety meetings.
• Establishes operational goals, develops work schedules, and ensures on-time delivery or job completion.
• Reviews sales reports, production reports, expenses, labor costs, attendance, and other operational documents.
• Monitors equipment operation and ensures adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.
• Works with customers to promote sales and resolve issues, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
• Monitors costs and establishes cost controls.
• Performs personnel management duties, including hiring, training, terminating, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and wage recommendations.
• Directs supervisors in their personnel management duties and ensures compliance with company policies.
• Monitors work performance and quality assurance.
• Reviews reports and discusses successes and areas for improvement with supervisors.
• Coordinates workflow between departments and work areas.
• Ensures excellent customer relations.
• Prepares and monitors the location budget, reviewing variances with department supervisors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Adheres to workplace safety commitments.
• Participates in and completes assigned trainings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of management experience in a related industry.
