LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Part Time Kansas City, MO area $21 / hour In addition, this position is eligible for $5 a month paid for monthly cellular phone allowance. BASIC FUNCTION The Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for equipment such as massage chairs, carts and USPS lockers in a defined area that will include: finances, equipment cleaning & maintenance, and client/customer relationships, will repair equipment at fitness locations. Key Responsibilities Test all equipment, perform maintenance and repairsMaintain clean equipment, replace components as neededPerform monthly collections; accurate and timelySubmit reports; accurate and timelyPerform banking functionsUnderstand work rules and the expectations of the facility and Smarte CarteMaintain regular contact with District Service ManagerEnsure a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designedInteract with facility management (mall management), to establish and maintain good rapport and excellent working relationshipsOther assignments as needed EDUCATION Associates or Technical degree preferred Skills Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated. Working knowledge of equipmentElectrical and mechanical equipment repairExcellent verbal and written communicationMaintain accurate recordsCompile reportsProficient in computer and Smartphone useElectro-mechanical proficiency Physical Requirements Lift 40 lbs. to waist heightBend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of timeVisual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Valid Drivers license requiredAbility to obtain airport badge requiredAbility to get USPS badge required (background check, drug screen, residing in the US for at least 5 years)
