Local Truck Driver CDL Class B
About the role
White Cap is North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying everything needed to build remarkable construction projects, including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. As a CDL A or B Driver, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, ensuring accuracy in manifests and paperwork while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.
You may use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments and occasionally assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders. This role offers stability, growth, and the opportunity to contribute to building America’s skyline.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer jobsites efficiently and safely.
- Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments when required.
- Follow DOT regulations and maintain vehicle safety through adherence to maintenance schedules and inspections.
- Ensure accuracy of manifests and all delivery paperwork.
- Assist warehouse staff with order preparation and other duties as needed.
- Perform additional tasks to support logistics operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience.
- Current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by your state of residence, with all relevant endorsements (e.g., Hazardous Material endorsement if transporting placarded materials).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.
- Forklift certification.
- Spanish language proficiency.

Pay
For Ohio job seekers, the pay range is $21.30–$29.90 per hour. Individual base pay is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, no nights or weekends.
