Local Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive a local truck or any company vehicle as needed.
• Load and unload truck using forklift.
• Accurate documentation of all paperwork.
• Daily vehicle, trailer and yard inspections ensuring equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Timely communications with people involved with continued operations of company facilities.
• Ensure vehicles and trailers dropped are properly secured.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of CDL Truck Driver experience and a Valid Commercial Driver's License from state of residency.
• Current DOT physical and no preventable accident during the previous 3 years.
• Physically capable of safely handling heavy freight by loading of flatbeds and Forklift certified or willing to certify.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and forklift experience.
• Previous straight truck driving experience.
