NorthEast Electrical is seeking a full-time, local route CDL A Driver to join our growing team in Providence, RI.

Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM start

Pay

$29/hour

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean MVR for the past 5 years
• RI Hoisting License preferred

About the role

As a NorthEast Electrical Driver for the Providence location, you will be the face of the company, transporting materials to valued customers in a company-provided truck. You will operate company equipment safely and ensure products are in perfect condition for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition—conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures
• Load and unload trucks; move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs
• Strong math and reading skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
