Local Leasing Manager
Job Description
Possibly prospect the local area on a bi-weekly basis in order to identify new and unique tenants. Attend local and regional events in order to maintain retailer relationships and introduce new retailers.
Participate in weekly meetings with the General Manager to update on prospects and the overall status of the Specialty Leasing program.
Source local permanent tenants for space at the center and run the entire deal.
Responsible for the ongoing temporary leasing of the Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs), kiosks, in-line stores, and vending.
Cook up the set-up, relocation, and breakdown of all temporary tenants.
Prepare all license agreements, amendments, and all other necessary paperwork.
Ensure that all local leasing retailers are adhering to the Operational Guidelines.
Collect weekly/monthly sales reports and rent checks from all temporary merchants.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with flexibility for event shifts, travel, and strict timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills and experience coordinating with teams, tenants, and vendors.
- Business development/sales background, interest in retail trends.
- Solid with office tools; comfortable working in Excel, managing budgets, and projections.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in marketing, with expertise in digital advertising (e.g., social media campaigns, retargeting).
- Bachelor's degree.
