Local Delivery Driver - CDL Class B

About the role

Loffredo Fresh Foods is a local, family-owned food and produce distributor serving the Midwest region. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for accuracy
• Inspect product for damage
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Interact with customers professionally
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Drive straight trucks safely
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Requirements

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license
• Able to work early morning hours (2 AM – 4 AM)
• Reliable and punctual transportation
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Read and write English
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
• Comfortable driving in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ or older
• Must be comfortable driving a straight truck

Skills

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Safety awareness and adherence to guidelines
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
• Proficiency in reading and writing English
