Local Delivery Driver - CDL Class B

About the role

Loffredo Fresh Foods is a local, family-owned food and produce distributor serving the Midwest region. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for accuracy
• Inspect product for damage
• Keep accurate records of deliveries
• Interact with customers professionally
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Drive straight trucks safely
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally

Requirements

• Valid interstate eligible driver's license
• Age 21+
• Reliable and punctual transportation
• Pass background check (including sex offender registry)
• Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
• Pass Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
• Able to read and write English
• Able to pass attention to detail and accuracy tests

Qualifications

• Comfortable driving in varying weather conditions
• Proficient in communicating with customers professionally
