Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat)

About the role

We are hiring a CDL A Driver with Hazmat endorsement in Elko, NV. The position involves delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies.
• Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers.
• Support deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders.
• Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions or a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years.
• Able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• One (1) year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

Pay

$28-$32 per hour. Sign On Bonus: $3000.00.

Schedule

Monday- Friday, DAY SHIFT, 40-45 hour work week, minimal overtime.
