Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a safety-focused Truck Driver to join a dynamic team in Rice, MN. The primary responsibility is to deliver compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products to customer locations following a computer-generated local route. This role involves loading/unloading at client sites and engaging with customers to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Average 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record product quantities and styles delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer needs
• Continuously build knowledge on Linde's operations to support growth
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent truck driving school certification
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate
• High School or GED equivalent
• At least 21 years old

Pay

$21.00 - $29.00 hourly (depending on experience)
