Local Delivery Driver (CDL A)

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a safety-focused Truck Driver to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products to customer locations while engaging with customers to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Average of 10-12 stops per day, including freight handling, paperwork completion, and customer interaction
• Accurately count and record product quantities and styles delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in compliance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify and address need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer needs
• Continuously build knowledge of Linde's operations to support growth and success
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent truck driving school certification
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials Endorsement
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years old

Pay

$21.00 - $29.00 hourly (depending on experience)
