About the role

You are expected to provide a high standard of customer service during deliveries, including unloading products, moving them to customer use points, and reloading returned empty cylinders. Drive for approximately 30 percent of the day, with the remainder spent on delivery tasks, cylinder handling, shipping paperwork, customer interactions, and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up, completing hazardous material shipping orders in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
• Placard vehicles according to hazardous material regulations and company standards.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying and ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
• Operate various equipment including straight trucks, tractor/trailers, and forklifts.
• Regularly engage with internal teams and external customers to support operational goals.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license with tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
• Maintain at least five years of driving experience with no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age or older.
