About the role
TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 12-week assignment starting September 28, 2026 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Primarily provides outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population.
- Evaluates and treats patients in the most functional environment, which is the patient's home.
- Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
- Directs activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession.
- Orders supplies and equipment as necessary and cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment.
- Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards.
- Coordinates care in the home and community with other members of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with the referring physician.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
- Must possess or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
- Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Compliance
- Complies with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including but not limited to those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act and HIPAA.
- Promptly reports concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor, Compliance Liaison or to the Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline.
- Cooperates with monitoring and audit functions and investigations.
- Participates, as requested, in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
