Bilingual (Spanish) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

  • Hourly Rate: $52.00 – $62.00 per hour
  • Location: Chicago, Illinois
  • Onsite Position Summary: RCM Health Care Services is hiring school-based bilingual (Spanish) Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a variety of educational settings. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for experienced clinicians, Clinical Fellows (CFYs), and new graduates.
  • Contract length: School-year assignments based on district needs; start date is August 10th

Responsibilities

  • Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: Monday–Friday following school schedule
  • Hours per week: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Key Duties:
  • Provide speech and language assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students
  • Deliver both pull-in and push-out therapy sessions based on student IEP requirements
  • Provide in-person therapy services within school-based settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions manually or electronically
  • Complete IEP documentation and end-of-year process reports as required
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding therapy plans and student progress

Requirements

  • Education Required: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Licenses & Certifications Required: ASHA CCC-SLP Required: PEL Required: Bilingual Endorsement
  • Requirements: Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and new graduates encouraged to apply

Skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational settings
  • Ability to provide effective in-person speech therapy services
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and therapy documentation
  • Ability to manage student caseloads and maintain compliance with school and state standards
