About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Powell, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Tennessee.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
