Local Contract School Services - Special Education Teacher - $47-48 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans that support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
• Provide specialized instruction in resource and/or self-contained classroom settings while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid South Carolina Certification in Multi-Categorical (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe also accepted).
• Experience in resource or self-contained special education settings (Preferred).
