Local Contract School Services - Special Education Teacher - $43-49 per hour

About the role

Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support and empower high school students during the 2026–2027 school year in Easton, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to high school students in inclusive and self-contained classroom settings.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and accommodations to support student achievement, independence, and meaningful participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with special education requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Maryland Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs preferred.

Pay

Earn $43.00 - $49.20 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Special Education Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
