Local Contract School Services - Occupational Therapist - $51-52 per hour

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Surprise, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Develop, implement, and monitor therapy interventions, documenting progress and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and district requirements.
• Assess student needs and recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and therapeutic strategies to enhance independence and academic success.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student participation, functional performance, and educational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master's Degree and Sensory Integration Certification (Preferred)
• Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Ability to assess and address sensory integration needs
• Proficiency in using adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

Pay

$51.20 - $52.30 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.

Schedule

Full-time, consistent 40-hour work week.
