About the role

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) for a local contract job in Surprise, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized behavioral support and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to promote student success in the school environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and reinforce positive behavior support plans.
  • Monitor student progress, document behavioral data, and adjust interventions to support social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment while helping students build positive behavioral and self-regulation skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field required; or a Bachelor's degree in Education/Special Education with five years of experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional disabilities.
  • Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification.
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • School-based and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Competitive Pay: Earn $58.40 - $64.60 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Behavior Coach / Interventionist, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
