Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $56-60 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 12, 2026, in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Virginia.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
