About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Burlington, Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
- Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Document patient care activities and treatment outcomes accurately.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Vermont.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Respiratory Therapy (NBCRT).
Skills
- Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
