Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $40-44 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week duration at 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts at night.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
• Assess patient needs and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
