Local Contract Respiratory Therapist - $40-44 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week duration at 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, days shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care services to patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient care activities and treatment outcomes accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in South Carolina.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using medical equipment and technology related to respiratory care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory physiology and pathophysiology.
• Skilled in administering respiratory treatments and monitoring patient responses.
