Local Contract Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse - $63-74 per hour
About the role
The Children's hospital in the Twin Cities is seeking a skilled RN for their 31-bed PICU. The position involves working 12-hour shifts with a day-night rotation.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to pediatric intensive care
Requirements
- MN RN license required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
- NRP certification preferred
Qualifications
Experience in pediatric intensive care is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
