About the role
We are seeking a skilled local contract nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The position offers 36 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours, days.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to pediatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as directed by physicians
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passport required for international assignments
