About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Billings, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Assist with patient education regarding recovery and discharge instructions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of an approved preceptorship or clinical training program.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and documentation.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
