About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Assist with patient transfers and ensure patient comfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Indiana.
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
