About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with other members of the surgical team
- Manage patient flow and assist with equipment setup and maintenance
Requirements
- Current RN license in Kentucky
- Experience in operating room setting preferred
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Skills
- Proficiency in operating room equipment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
