About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an experienced surgeon.
- Assist with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon.
- Ensure sterility and safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment before surgeries.
- Monitor patients during and after surgery.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in the Operating Room setting.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Current BLS certification.
