Local Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse - $61-72 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in West Islip, New York.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an RN or MD.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
• Participate in sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising RN or MD.

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in operating room setting preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
