Local Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse - $52-61 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Carbondale, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
• Manage patient flow and assist with equipment setup and maintenance

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in OR setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
