Local Contract Operating Room Registered Nurse - $52-61 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery (OR) unit, supporting 11 operating rooms with 70 staff members.
• Provide care in various surgical procedures including THA, Anterior THA, TKA, TSA, Lumbar Spine, Cervical Spine, Lap Appy, Lap Chole, Hysterectomy, Abscess I&D, Amputations, pediatric Dental, CABG, AVR/MVR, Mastectomy, etc...
• Operate on units with varying patient ratios and types of equipment.
• Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Requirements

• AK perm license required for RN position.
• Candidates should have experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, and preferred experience in Davinci XI, Vascular, ENT, General, etc...
• Must pass state background and fingerprint processes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in AK.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro.
• ACLS, BLS certification.

Skills

• Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro.
• ACLS, BLS.
• Experience in Davinci XI, Vascular, ENT, General, etc...
• Experience in CV Surgery.

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. OT after 8 hours.

Schedule

Shift: 6:30AM-7:00PM Days with on call. On-call requirements vary, approximately 4-5 shifts per 4 weeks. Weekend requirements: On-call, possible scheduled shifts as unit requires.
