About the role

The facility in Aberdeen, South Dakota is seeking a contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure aseptic conditions
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
• Manage medical equipment and supplies
• Document patient care activities accurately

Requirements

• Current RN license in South Dakota
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience in operating room setting preferred

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
