Local Contract Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $63-74 per hour

About the role

The Children's hospital in the Twin Cities is seeking a local contract nurse RN for a 12-week assignment in the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night.
• Provide care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Requirements

• A current RN license in Minnesota.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• NRP certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric intensive care is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
