About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the PICU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by physicians
- Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to healthcare providers
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Maryland
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Knowledgeable in PICU protocols and procedures
