  • We’re currently looking for a PICU Registered Nurse for a Hospital contract.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized pediatric nursing care for patients up to 25 years old in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

  • Monitor and respond to patient vital signs, including ECG rhythm recognition, and manage inotropes as needed.

  • Administer medications following protocols, including in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and in accordance with hospital policies.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Complete orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests, with acceptable scores.

  • Cover night shifts, working at least every other holiday as scheduled.

  • Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all safety standards.
