About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a local contract RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Glidden, Iowa. This is a 13‑week local contract requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, with an every‑3rd‑weekend rotation and a 1:3 patient‑to‑nurse ratio. Prime Time Healthcare is a nationwide provider of traveling healthcare professionals, specializing in the placement of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and allied health staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide progressive care unit nursing care
- Perform tele interpretation and ventilator management
- Manage ART lines, IV insertion, and PICC lines
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 4+ years of progressive care unit experience
- Training and/or certification for tele interpretation and ventilator
- Experience with ART lines, IV insertion, and PICC lines
