About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a local contract job in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Operate equipment to capture images and record data accurately.
- Document patient information and results in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate test results.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Wisconsin.
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program.
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Wisconsin.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
